TRACKING_____Governor Douye Diri ‘s Two Month In Office And Little Impact Made So Far. The Governor who assumed office on February 14th, 2020 is today Tuesday 14th April, 2020 two months in office.
Despite the challenges Nigeria and the world at large is facing, Sen. Douye Diri has shown capacity, and readiness to tow Bayelsa state on Lanes of prosperity.
Just barely two months in office as Governor of Bayelsa state, His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri has performed remarkably well.
1. He was able to pay gratuity of two months to Bayelsa State pensioners who were owed in previous Government.
2. Implemented the 30k minimum wage to the state civil servants despite the shortfall in revenue.
3. Cleared the January 2020 salaries of workers in the state owned higher institutions.
4. Provided palliatives for Bayelsans in curse of the COVID19 pandemic that has brought much hardship and still, ensuring the prevention of the dreaded global epidemic from attacking anyone in the state.
5. Installation of solar streetlights in the state capital…
This is the time he needs our prayers as a people in order to enable him succeed especially in this trying times of our country and state.
Prosperity agenda is a collective agreement and we must unite beyond political party affiliation to achieve this.
