BAYELSA: INEC express readiness for Saturday’s Supplementary Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has called on all stakeholders in Ogbia Constituency 2 and Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency, Registration Area Ward 01 Unit 025, Registration Area Ward, 05, 10, 12, 13 and 15 that the conduct of Supplementary Elections to the above constituencies will hold on Saturday 15th April, 2023 from 8:30am to 2:30pm.

Mr. Wilfred Ifogha, Head of Department Voter Education and Publicity, INEC Bayelsa who disclosed this in a statement, said the commission has made adequate arrangements including security to ensure a hitch free process.

According to the statement, INEC State Office at Arietallin Road, off Swali Market Road, will be the Registration Area Centre, RAC for the movement of personnel and materials as well as the collation centre for both Ogbia Constituency 2 and Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.

INEC urged all eligible voters, party agents, observers, media and other stakeholders to take note and participate in the exercise.
