TRACKING_____The governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Diri Douye stated on Sunday afternoon that a former Director General of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Timi Alaibe was his political boss for 10 years.
Fielding questions from journalists during an interactive session, the “Miracle Governor” declared that efforts were being made by him and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to make Mr. Alaibe, whom he said he served for 10 years before parting ways politically see reasons to join hands to move the state forward.
The governor noted that the former NDDC boss cannot be termed as a political push-over in the Bayelsa political scene hence his desire to work with him.
Further answering questions on the policies and plans of his nascent government, the governor said efforts will be intensified to consolidate on the successes of the Restoration Government of his predecessor while also moving the state on a large scale economic drive via agriculture, trade and investment.
