The crisis in the PDP deepens as some fresh revelation about the internal friction in the party and the activities of party officials surfaces.
The news of SDD in connivance with the state PDP secretary, sponsoring candidates from other political parties in the state to challenge selected PDP candidates in the forth coming general elections is loud.
For instance, it is suspected that the current flag bearers in APGA, LP and SDP are being sponsored by SDD and his younger brother.
Also there is news of alleged plot by SDD to cancel Ebinyun Turner’s mandate. It is believed that SDD is sponsoring a court case against him using Honorable Miteme Obordor.
In Sagbama/ Ekeremor Senatorial District, plans are allegedly ongoing to field Donald Daunimigha as the Labour Party candidate to contest against the PDP senatorial candidate.
It was equally gathered that the first lady of the State, Her Excellency, Mrs Gloria Diri, in collaboration with the secretary of the PDP, have allegedly perfected plans to tamper with the mandate of a PDP state assembly flag bearer in KOLGA, Hon Wisdom Fafi with an SDP candidate.
Yenagoa is not left out in all of this as plans have allegedly been perfected by SDD in YELGA Constituency 2 to project an APGA candidate by name, Awaikomo Amakoromo who is being bankrolled by the governor and positioned to contest the seat with Hon Ebiwou.
It is equally alleged that the prosperity government have concluded plans to secretly support APC candidates against their party candidates in the forth coming elections one of which is the younger brother of the PDP secretary in the state, and this is known and approved by SDD.
Indeed, the PDP in the state is undergoing a major set back such that even SDDs spokes person, on his social media page affirmed that there is problem in the party and there was no need to continue to pretend. The question begging for answers is what really is the problem with the SDD led PDP?
