Bayelsa Speaker Says Appeal Court Victory is Another Indication of God’s involvement in the Affairs of Bayelsa State

TRACKING_____Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere has on behalf of the leadership and members described the appeal court victory of Governor Douye Diri as a clear demonstration of God’s Mighty works in the affairs of men.

Speaking with a staff correspondent at the Assembly complex Mr. Ingobere said it’s abundantly clear that Sen. Douye Diri is God’s desire for the state to bring about development and prosperity and called on all members of the PDP family to join hands with well meaning Bayelsans to take project Bayelsa to an enviable height.

Rt. Hon. Ingobere said the call for synergy with all stakeholders has become necessary as in the face of current realities and challenges occasioned by the global pandemic Covid-19, Sen. Douye Diri has left no one in doubt of his commitment to ensure the health and safety of Bayelsans.

The number one lawmaker therefore on behalf of the leadership, members and staff of the state assembly felicitate with Sen Douye Diri and Sen Lawrence Erhudjakpor on their victory at the Appeal Court while assuring continued partnership with the executive arm of government through legislations to strengthen institutions to enhance development of the State.

The Speaker used the medium to appreciate stakeholders and all members of the PDP family for conducting peaceful and credible ward, Local government and state congresses while commending the prosperity government for ensuring a successful transition from one exco to another.

While congratulating Chief Solomon Agwanana state Chairman and his executives, the local government and ward chairmen and excos Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere expressed optimism in their abilities to further strengthen the unity of the PDP in the state to maintain its dominance for greater victories ahead
