As Speaker Ingobere Commends Bayelsa Governor For Continued Synergy
A delegation of dedicated public servants from the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, led by the Right Honourable Speaker, (High Chief) Abraham Ingobere, along with participants from Edo, Imo, Gombe, and other States has commenced the Advanced Leadership, Executive Professional and Education Programme at the prestigious University of Cambridge in London-United Kingdom.
The programme aims to equip participants with essential competencies to lead effectively, navigate complex situations, and make informed decisions with key objectives including;
~ Enhance leadership capabilities to drive growth and development
~ Foster a culture of informed decision-making and effective problem-solving
~ Encourage knowledge sharing and networking among participants
The University of Cambridge, with over 800 years of experience in leadership development, utilizes a bespoke approach to empower organizational and individual growth.
In Mr Speaker’s words: “I extend my deepest gratitude to the management and staff of Cambridge University for hosting this esteemed training programme.
“We are committed to leveraging this valuable experience to contribute to the growth and development of Bayelsa State House of Assembly and, by extension, our dear Bayelsa State.”
He also used the medium to commend Governor Douye Diri for the continued partnership, sponsorship, and appreciate the coordinating personnel and organizers, including Dr. John Mutu, CEO of African Parliamentary Resource Center (APRC), for their thoughtful, efforts and time dedicated to the process.
Upon completion, participants are expected to develop innovative strategic responses to adapt to rapid economic and technological change, enhance their ability to navigate complex global financial systems, foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing, develop effective leadership styles to drive growth and sustainability.
