TRACKING_____A university Don Engineer Ebipadou Sapre-Obi is set to throw his hat into the ring to challenge the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Mr. Seriake Dickson in the forth-coming senatorial race of the Bayelsa West Senatorial District.
He let the cat out of the bag in a chat with Niger Delta Herald in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State.
Engr. Sapre-Obi hinted that he is joining the race for the red chamber to provide effective and exceptional representation if given the mandate, adding that Bayelsa West has not been effectively represented hence the lack of federal presence since the inception of this democratic dispensation.
Engr. Sapre-Obi who is a lecturer with the department of Electrical/Electronics of the Niger Delta University, Amassoma disclose that he will contest on the platform of the Accord Party (AP) andhe is poised to make a difference.
He admonished Bayelsans to follow the guidelines set by the government to contain the novel coronavirus pandemic, stressing that it is the only way to stay-safe.
