•••CHARGES STAFF TO BE MORE DILIGENT AND COMMITTED IN DISCHARGING THEIR DUTIES.

The acting Chairman of Bayelsa State Volunteers, Hon. Asanakpo Oyinkuro Lucky has charged the management and staff of the agency to rededicate themselves to the service of the state government.

He gave this charged today during a marathon prayer session in the temporary office of the agency, stating that last year was very challenging but with God all things are possible.

He also used the occasion to pray for the governor and prosperity government, the staff and leadership of the outfit for the strength and wisdom to do the job with diligence and dedication in the new year.

The Chairman has urged the citizens and various youth groups to continue to maintain the existing peace and harmony prevalent in the state adding that the government will continue to put in place programmes and projects that will empower our youth.

Nobody, he observed should engage in acts that may scuttle the peace in the state because that is the only way to attract internal and foreign investors.

He has assured the staff that he will equally pay premium to the welfare. He commended the staff for their commitment to duty in the past year especially as they has to work in very difficult circumstances.
