The Bayelsa State Volunteer Security Outfit has successfully apprehended one of the suspects involved in a burglary incident that occurred at Tastymony (Dishes) Kitchen, located in Opolo, opposite the old Mr. Biggs.

On the night of June 1st, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., Mr. Emmanuel Israel and his accomplice, identified as Mr. ThankGod Inogbon (currently at large), broke into the premises of Tastymony Kitchen. The criminal operation reportedly lasted until 5:00 a.m. on June 2nd, 2025, during which several valuable items were carted away.

Upon discovery of the break-in, the manager of Tastymony Kitchen promptly alerted the Bayelsa State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and the Bayelsa State Volunteer Security Outfit. A swift intelligence-led operation was initiated by a special squad within the Volunteer Outfit.
On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Mr. Emmanuel Israel was successfully arrested and brought to the Volunteer Security Outfit’s operational base for interrogation. During the investigation, he confessed to the crime and provided critical information that could lead to the arrest of his accomplice, Mr. ThankGod Inogbon.
Following standard procedures, the suspect has since been handed over to the Bayelsa State CID for further investigation and possible prosecution.
