As political activity in Nigeria shifts toward the 2023 general election, the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Solidarity Vanguard (BATS-Vanguard), a pro-Tinubu support group, will be established in Lagos on August 25, 2022.

Dr. Dare Owotomobi is the founder and global chairman of BATS Vanguard, while Otunba Dr. Shakirudeen Dengel Anifowose is the chairman of the Lagos State.

Dengel claims that the group is independent and is not backed by any one person. Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu was the person we chose to work with because we needed someone who could provide outcomes—performance-based results, not just promises.

Dengel made it clear that the basis of his support for the former governor was his faith in Asiwaju Tinubu’s dedication to the development of the economy and human capital. He underlined that the group would use social media platforms like Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn to inspire people.

Dengel stated, “We are launching a knowledge-driven campaign focused on Asiwaju Tinubu’s great contributions to Nigerian democracy and his hard labor over the years to build the country and the people.
