Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has condemned the killing of Mr Olajide Sowore, younger brother to former Presidential candidate, Mr Omoyele Sowore who was killed on Saturday in Okada, Edo State.

Governor Bello, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammed Onogwu commiserated with the Sowore family, stating that the death of Mr Olajide Sowore was, indeed, a painful one.

He noted that evil men carrying out such act of cowardice on a harmless citizen must be fetched out and punished.

While he condoled with the immediate family of the deceased, the Governor said the 50-year-old; Mr Olajide Sowore who was a student of Pharmacy at the Igbinedion University, Okada was taking such remarkable feet at that age hence served as an inspiration and an example of a determined individual.

He prayed for God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss, even as he urged security operatives to unravel those behind such act of callousness.
