Afrobeats and RnB maestro, Fireboy DML continues to trailblaze with his hit track, Peru as the Ed Sheeran featured remix becomes certified Gold in France.
This is the Fireboy‘s third Gold certification, thanks to the success of his Peru remix, which was released in December 2021. The song had previously bagged Gold certification in the US in the month of April.
The song is also a British certified platinum single and has sold over six hundred thousand (600,000) units in the United Kingdom.
The “Playboy” hitmaker joins artists like Rema, Ckay, and Burna Boy who’ve attained Gold certifications in France.
Fireboy himself is still pushing the envelope, as he is nominated for a BET Award in the category of Best International Act.
