Ibekimi Oriamaja Reports
Dele Momodu, a former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has called All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu a dictator.
Momodu recalled Tinubu’s disagreements with former Lagos State Governors Babatunde Raji Fashola and Akinwunmi Ambode.
He also accused the APC presidential candidate of conspiring to keep Bukola Saraki from becoming Senate President in 2015.
According to Momodu, Tinubu had disagreements with his deputy governors during his eight-year tenure as governor of Lagos State.
“I will never support a dictatorship,” he said. I endured a dictatorship, spending three years in detention and exile.
“That is why I have told anyone who says someone must be president by force to count me out.” Dictatorship has no place in my opinion.
“Once you start demonstrating dictatorship, I will withdraw.”
When asked if Tinubu is a dictator, Ovation magazine Publisher Momodu said the former Lagos State governor is a potential dictator.
He also slammed Festus Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment and the APC’s Chief Spokesperson, calling him an attack dog who likes to yell.
“When he (Keyamo) is talking, he doesn’t know how to calm down,” Momodu said. He is my ‘aburo,’ someone close to me, but ever since they gave him the job of Minister in a Ministry where everything is in shambles, he has been less than competent.
“If I were in his position, I am certain I would have resigned.” He is in that ministry, and he has the time and the audacity to be abusing me for something as trivial as an academic exercise.”
