In a latest development, the Executive Chairman, Brass Local Government Council, Hon. Victor Isaiah has finally broken silence on ownership of Sangana Ultra modern market in Bayelsa State, TrackNews reports.

While reacting to controversies surrounding the market ownership, Hon. Victor Isaiah revealed that his administration initiated and sponsored the market project.

In his words as captured by Track News;

“While I do not wish to discourage anyone from commending a leader for his or her good performance, I am forced to hint that as against what many persons are made to believe, the Sangana market project was solely initiated and sponsored by the Brass Local Government Council under my watch”

Hon. Isaiah also expressed dissatisfaction on how the state speaker is being praised for what Brass Local Government Council did. See details of the his statement below;

“During one of our visits, my team and I saw the need to build a bigger, more convenient and modern market facility that will enhance the commercial activities of the peace-loving Sangana people. Therefore on the 26th of June 2020, we awarded the contract to Watobi Venture and Company, to build the project and complete it in record time. This is why I was surprised how the speaker is being praised for what we did”

Hon. Isaiah also encouraged the social media aides to always feed the public with the right information and avoid misleading the public on sensitive issues relating to the one on ground.

In his words;

“I hereby advise the social media aides that made the posts to feed the general public with the right information regarding the Sangana market project so that another will not take credit for what we did in line with our promise to improve the people of Brass Local Government Area. We were created by a jealous God who hates idolatry and whatnot. So also, no human reading this will be happy when another is being praised for what you did. We were not configured to endure that.”
