Breaking: Governor Sule Sacks SSG, Bids Him Farewell

TRACKING____The Executive Governor of Nasarawa state, His Excellency Engr Abdullahi Sule, has sacked the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu, whom he had appointed barely a year ago.

The former SSG has been having a running battle following accusations of financial misappropriation on the award of contracts.

According to the letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Government House Administration on behalf the Governor and obtained by Journalists101 it stated that; “His Excellency the Governor of Nasarawa state, Engr. Abdullah A. Sule, has approved the relieve of the appointment of Alhaji Tijjani Aliyu Ahmed as Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa state with effect today Monday 8th of June, 2020”.

The letter further reads: “He is required to handover all Government properties in his possession to the Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs and Special Services in the office of the Secretary to the Government of the state with immediate effect”.

The Governor however, thanked him for his services and support to the administration and enjoined him farewell in his future endeavour.

“His Excellency thanks the former Secretary to the Government of the state for his service and support to the administration and wishes hum the best in his future endeavour”, it added.
