BREAKING: Gunmen abduct Methodist Church Prelate, others

Gunmen have kidnapped Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence, Samuel Kanu.

He was abducted on Sunday along Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia.

TrackNews gathered he was abducted with two Methodist Bishop of Owerri Rt. Rev. Dennis Mark and the Prelate’s Chaplain.

They were kidnapped in the afternoon on their way from a programme in the council area.

Abia Police spokesman SP Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed the incident.

He said: “It’s quite unfortunate. Efforts are on top gear toward his rescue as well as other priests with him.

“We solicit credible information from the public toward their rescue, please. “
