Gunmen have attacked the campaign office of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola in Osogbo, Osun State, www.tracknews.ng learnt.
The assailants suspected to be political thugs on Thursday reportedly stormed the Coca Cola Area of the state capital where Oranmiyan House, used as the campaign office of the Minister of the Federal Ministry of Interior of Nigeria is situated.
The gun-wielding men according to reports arrived in the area around 5:30 pm and started shooting at the building.
The Punch reports that the assailants also shot at a transformer located beside the building and a canopy erected in front of the secretariat which caught fire.
