Agency reports,

Several property worth millions have been destroyed following a clash between Traders and Thugs at the Popular Alaba Market in Lagos on Wednesday morning.

POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that fighting broke out after Traders reportedly opposed some members of the Market union over ‘illegal’ tax collection.

It was gathered that several traders mobilized and opposed the attempt by the union members to ‘extort’ them.

As at the time of filing this report, normalcy is yet to be restored to the area.
