BREAKING: INEC chiefs in closed door meeting over Bayelsa

TRACKING_____The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Mahmood Yakubu and some National Commissioners are currently in a closed door meeting at the Commission’s Headquarters in Abuja.

Although there has not been any official statement to why they are meeting, The Nation gathered that it was to further study the Supreme Court judgment which sacked the Bayelsa Governor-elect, David Lyon.

INEC National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voters Education Committee, Festus Okoye on Thursday, said the Commission was studying the judgment.
