Breaking: Finitiri Picks University Don As Running Mate
The Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has picks a seasoned technocrat and academician, Prof Kelatapwa Farauta as his running mate for the 2023 Gubernatorial elections race.
Farauta until her nomination was the Vice Chancellor Adamawa State University, Mubi.
Confirming this to our correspondent today (Thursday) in Yola, the Director General Media and Communication to governor Fintiri, Mr. Solomon said, “Yes, it is true my principal has picked Professor Kelatapwa Farauta has running mate for the 2023 governorship election”
Professor Kelatapwa Farauta was until her appointment as VC of Adamawa State University was a commissioner of Education when Ahamdu Umuru Fintiri was the Ag. Governor.
She also the Executive chairman of Universal Basic Education in Adamawa before her appointment as commissioner of Education.
Professor Kelatapwa Farauta hails from Numan local government area the same zone the present Deputy Governor is from.
Similarly, the All Progressive Congress APC gubernatorial flagbearer, Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed (Binani) has also picked Hon. Titsi Ganama as her running mate for the 2023 governorship election in Adamawa.
Titsi Ganama, a former House of Representatives member hails from the Northern senatorial zone same zone governor Fintiri is from.
