Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) students have barricaded the institution’s main gate to protest the recent hike in school fees.
TrackNews Media reports that the OAU management announced the new increased school fees on September 14, 2023, sparking a series of negotiations between the student union and the school management.
This publication learnt that the student body demanded a significant decrease in the fees, arguing that they are unaffordable for many students.
