Adeleye Kunle reports,

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmaker, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani, on Tuesday said Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2023 election, is his “friend, brother and colleague”.

Track News Nigeria learnt that the inclusion of Nnamani, a serving senator representing Enugu East Senatorial District, in the 422-man list of the APC electioneering train caused a stir on social media when the campaign list was unveiled on Saturday.

Reacting to a question from an insistent Twitter user on if he is indeed working for Tinubu, the former Enugu governor tactically replied with an accompanying short video of him opposing the social media bill on the floor of the National Assembly on November 20, 2019.

Now that former Governor @ChimarokeNamani and I have followed each other and watching Festus Keyamo’s answer to the question of the former governor’s inclusion in the APC Presidential List few days ago on Channels, I have to ask again, Your Excellency, are you working for Tinubu? pic.twitter.com/7TBbbld8hI

HE Tinubu is my friend, brother and colleague. I have great respect for him,his political antecedents and strides in governance. And I am very proud and well pleased with him. Any body belly aching should go ….. himself. pic.twitter.com/4y94I5sSXo

He also wrote: “HE Tinubu is my friend, brother and colleague. I have great respect for him, his political antecedents and strides in governance. And I am very proud and well pleased with him. Anybody belly aching should go ….. himself,” Nnamani wrote.
