The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has suspended its National Chairman, Shehu Gabam, along with National Auditor Nnadi Clarkson and Youth Leader Chukwuma Uchechukwu, over allegations of financial misconduct and fund diversion.
The party’s NWC cited unauthorized transactions and submission of fraudulent financial statements. Deputy Chairman (North), Dr. Sadiq Umar Abubakar, has taken over as acting chairman, while an investigative panel audits party finances. INEC and relevant agencies have been notified.
