BREAKING: Senate halts proceedings, adjourns plenary till April 25

The Senate has adjourned plenary until April 25, 2023, to allow lawmakers to observe the Easter and Eid-El-Fitr holidays.

TrackNews reports that the announcement was made on Wednesday afternoon by Senate President Ahmad Lawan shortly before the end of plenary in Abuja.

Lawn stated that the period would allow the lawmakers to participate in various religious activities as well as take much-needed rest.
