Titus Uba, former speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly has won the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship ticket in Benue State.
Uba defeated his close challenger, Benson Abounu and others with a wide vote margin to pick the PDP ticket.
He will now slug it out with whoever emerges as candidate from the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 gubernatorial election in Benue State.
Uba defeated Abounu in 19 LGAs so fa counted.
