Buhari accepts the transfer of nine permanent secretaries.

Nine permanent secretaries have had their transfers and deployments authorized by President Muhammadu Buhari.

A circular on the appointments was released by Dr. Folashade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HoS).

Udo Okokon Ekanem, of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation’s Service Policies and Strategy Office; Jafiya Lydia Shehu, of the Ministry of Information and Culture; and Faruk Yusuf-Yabo, of the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation’s Special Duties Office, are the newly appointed employees who have been deployed, according to a statement by Mohammed Ahmed, the office’s deputy director for communications.

The six permanent secretaries who have been reassigned are Dr. Emmanuel Meribole, Service Policies and Strategic Office to Ministry of Aviation, Abel Olumuyiwa Enitan, Ministry of Aviation to Police Affairs, Nebeolisa Anako, Ministry of Power to Ministry of Budget and National Planning, and Temitope Peter Fashedemi, Ministry of Police Affairs to Ministry of Power.

Dr. Adaora Ifeoma Anyanwutaku from the Ministry of Information and Culture and Aliyu Shinkafi Shehu from the Ministry of Finance have both been transferred to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs.

Except for the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning Arm, the handing over and taking over operations were supposed to be finished by Friday, August 26, 2022, according to the circular.
