Buhari writes Senate, nominates new names for appointments as ambassadors

President Muhammadu Buhari has on Wednesday, January 23, written to the Senate to nominate new names for appointments as ambassadors.

Those nominated by the presidency are Christopher C. Chejina (Delta state), Bukar Kolo (Yobe state), M.A. Mabdul- (Benue state).

The letter requests that the Senate consider the request of Mr. President C-n-C on the confirmation of nominations of the following persons for appointment as Career Ambassadors-Designate in accordance with Section 171 (1) (c) (4) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended.

Meanwhile, Tracknews.ng earlier reported that Barrister Aliyu Bagudu Abubakar was appointed as the new director general for the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria by President Muhammadu Buhari.
