The victim, who was going through a difficult time in her life and fell for the con after looking up a “love spell caster” on Google, was told by the couple that they would cast a love spell on her.

Okwuchukwu (41), and Obiwuru Jonathan Uzaka (35), both residents of Delhi’s Uttam Nagar, were named by the police as the individuals arrested. The police were looking for Daniel and Michala Ajunda, two further suspects.

According to the police, the complainant, an ophthalmologist, said the accused informed her that they were “love spell casters” from Uganda and would perform some prayers for her love.
