CADA: Bob Collins Commends Mulade; Charges Okowa, Oborevwori on Speed Up Bill Establishment

TRACKING____Niger Delta youth leader, Comrade Bob Collins Igetei has commended the sole frontier of the Coastal Areas Development Agency Bill, Comrade Sheriff Mulade for the initiative targeted at developing coastal areas in Delta state.

The Deputy Speaker of the Ijaw Youth Council Mobile Parliament poured accolades on the renowned environmental rights activist for once again speaking for the speaking for riverine communities.

Comrade Bob Collins while on a chat with newsmen called on the governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori to speedily undergo the processes preceding the establishment of the agency into law.

Speaking further, the Diebiri-born youth leader called on all House of Assembly members representing the coastal areas and all leaders from the region, particularly the Ijaws, the major occupants of coastal areas in the state to ensure the bill is established in no time.

It will be recalled that Comrade Sheriff Mulade had submitted the bill proposing for the establishment of the Coastal Areas Development Bill to the Delta state government and House of Assembly.

The reception of the bill by both parties were made public on January 24th, 2020. Hence, coastal areas in the state can only be anxious and hopeful that the government act on the bill as soon as possible.
