TRACKING_____November 16th 2019 is a landmark in the political history of Bayelsa state. Significant in its true sense because the ordinary Bayelsans for once made a bold statement in the delivery of a purposeful leadership.

Just a day to the ushering in of this much expected leadership, the Supreme Court did the unexpected and many became literally wounded. That’s is now history!

Though pained by this regrettable development, many have gathered the pieces and moved on to face the harsh realities at the moment; bearing in mind that what’s ahead of us is sometimes far better than what has passed.

However, at such painful moments of transition, what is required is absolute peace building without reference to party lines as APC will continue to soar high in the state despite the temporary set back.

This is the moment the roles of past and present political and traditional leaders are needed to put off rising political flames and not to add fuel to an inferno.

Yes, Ineye INGBAIFEGHA (Haglar OSURUSURU), like many other Bayelsans is pained the political development but calling for Senator Degi’s resignation as a serving senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria within two weeks is uncalled for and a frustration expressed beyond limits.

Degi is more pained than many; a man who has never had any criminal record in his life was stained by a panel, using him as a sacrificial lamb.

Degi at this point needs the support of party members and his constituents because what happened to Distinguished Senator Degi could happen to any politician in as far as Nigerian politics is concern.

We the concerned members of APC Youths for Good Governance will resist any attempt to further destabilize the peace of the party and the state.

Haglar and his sponsors by this notice advised to withdraw their action(s) for the interest of all.
