Nigerian music star and socio-political activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy says he will be having a thanksgiving service on Sunday in Lagos for surviving prostate cancer.
The singer recently underwent a successful surgery after battling with the ailment for over ten days.
In a tweet on Friday morning, the pioneer of âOur Mumu Don Doâ protest, said he would be thanking God on Sunday for sparing his life.
He wrote, âTomorrow I Dey go thank God for sparing my life from prostate cancer.
âHopefully my instrument go begin to function again, I go let una know cos I go do another Thanksgiving for dat one. Itâs not easy to be a Manooooâ.
