Coalition of CDC Chairmen Silga (CCDCCS) Demand Unconditional Release of Kidnapped Popular Bayelsa Blogger

TRACKIN______Coalition of CDC Chairmen Silga (CCDCCS) have demanded for the immediate and unconditional release of Mr. Mienpamo Saint, the Chief Executive Officer of NaijaLive Tv by his abductors.

They have also tasked the federal government and state security agencies to do everything possible to ensure the safety of the blogger, who was abducted this morning at about 1:45 am May 9, 2020 in his home at INEC road, Yenagoa local government area, Bayelsa state.

Speaking to press on behalf of the CCDCCS today in yenagoa is the chairman of the Forum , Comrade Matthew Perekekuna, the immediate past community development committee (CDC) chairman of Ikebiri 1, Publicity secretary, Iyekoroghe Bekewei APPOLUS, also the immediate past community development committee (CDC) Chairman and now Stakeholder of Fierebagha-ama community in Southern Ijaw local government area Bayelsa state, said the entire people of southern Ijaw land, home and abroad received with shock the sudden news of the Mr. Mienpamo Mienpamo Onitsha Saint’s midnight abduction.

“As a body, we are calling on the Federal and the state government to do everything possible to ensure the safety of our brother and unearth his whereabouts, and to have the perpetrators fished out.

“We also call on all the Southern Ijaw indigenes, Bayelsans and Nigerians to rise up in prayers against the ugly development that has gotten to the family of Mr. Saint Mienpamo Ikebiri1 community, one of the peaceful young men we have in Bayelsa state and Southern Ijaw LGA, again we prat that God exposes the sponsors and perpetrators of this dastardly inhuman act.”

We therefore issue a 24-hour ultimatum to the abductors of Mr. Saint to free him unconditionally.

He said, “We as a group we condemned it in its entirety the first Saturday kidnapping of our brother Mr. Mienpamo Saint by yet to be identified gunmen. It is regrettable that such incident could happen in our state”

Perekebuna, added that the entire membership of the Coalition is against the ungodly act and urged the kidnappers to release the blogger unconditionally.
Since his abduction, no contact has been established while the abductors have not made any demand too.

Lastly, we appreciate youths of the State, his fellow bloggers, security agencies for their efforts they have put in place so far.
