Commissioner Of Education Dr. Gentle Emelah Congratulates Bayelsa Ball Joggler Tonye Solomon

***Calls On Bayelsans to Support The Football Freestyle Champion

Bayelsa state commissioner of education Dr Gentle Emelah have received Football freestyle sensation Tonye solomon popularly called Ball boy after winning the predator Energy qualification competition in port Harcourt River State.

Recall that Mr. Tonye Solomon, a.k.a, D. Boy, registered his name in the Guinness Book of Record in August 2023 for successfully climbing a mast making 149 steps in the process while having a ball balanced on his head.

Tonye who hails from Okordia community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State yet again achieved another feat by defeating contenders to win the predator Energy Qualification competition.

With this the Ball boy will represent Rivers state at the Grand finale of the Predator football freestyle championships coming up later this September in Lagos Nigeria.

According to Dr Gentle Emelah, the news of his recent feat, made him more proud of the Okordia born Talented Ball joggler who has continued to put Bayelsa in the global map.

“I received our Son, Tonye Solomon (Ball Boy) upon his return from Port Harcourt After winning the Predator Energy Qualification competition on 31st August in Port Harcourt, Rivers State”

“The Ball joggler Tonye will be representing Port Harcourt City at the grand final of the Predator football freestyle championships on the 24th September 2024 in Lagos”

“As a young Bayelsan using his God given talent to carve a niche for himself, our duty is to give him all the needed support at all times to succeed and continue to put our dear State on the Global Map

Dr. Gentle Emelah further admonished Bayelsa youths to shun cultism, internet fraud and other social vices and channel their youthfulness to develop their Talents and learn skills which will launch them to the world.
