Track News Nigeria has learnt that Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the President of the nation, has received Senator Kashim Shettima, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential running mate today in Abuja.
Our Correspondent, Mr. Mohammed Oluwatimileyin Taoheed, says this follows after the former Governor of Borno State was officially unveiled on Wednesday.
Track News Nigeria gathered that Shettima was accompanied on the visit by Borno Governor Babagana Zulum and both of them are seen while arriving the forecourt of the Presidency’s office in this evening.
As at the time of filling this report, Our Correspondent says he couldn’t provide the details of the meeting.
Speculation has it that it is on the 2023 general election.
