TRACKING> The Lagos State High Court has ordered Prince Uche Secondus, National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Senator Ben Obi to appear in Court on 10th February 2020, to show cause why they should not be committed to prison.

It would be recalled that the High Court of Lagos State, Lagos Judicial Division, per Honourable Justice Oyekan-Abdullahi (Mrs.) had on November 12, 2019, ordered that all parties maintain peace, order and status quo with regards to the special election being planned by the party with respect to Lagos State Executive Committee.

In total disobedience to the said order of the Honourable Court, the party proceeded to conduct the aforesaid special election.

The special election Committee was chaired by Senator Ben Obi at the instance of Prince Uche Secondus.

The PDP, Lagos Chapter has continued to carry out its affairs in flagrant disobedience of the Court Order despite the knowledge of the case and pending application for interlocutory injunction.

Upon hearing and submissions of Mr Francis Akinlotan, for the claimants and Mr Muyideen and O.A Momodu for 1st -6th defendants, the court adjourned the matter to February 10, 2020 for the hearing of order to show cause.
