TRACKING_____The immediate speaker of Bayelsa state house of Assembly Rt. Hon Monday Obolo has provided emergency relief package, including food stuffs, bags of rice, Garri, Beans and other items for his constituents as Nigeria battles coronavirus
Rt. Hon. Obolo the member representing Southern Ijaw constituency 11 have been in the forefront in the fight against the elusive and deadly Coronavirus since the pandemic started.
After carefully considering the pains suffered by his People back home, brought about by the rise in the prices of Foodstuffs, Rt. Hon. Obolk once again moved into action by providing succour, thereby easing the People’s burden especially during this difficult period.
He stated that it has become imperative for the government to provide palliative measures for the masses in order to make them comply with the guidelines.
In his word, ” This is only the first batch, we don’t know how long this will last yet, but we all know that our people need this in order to get along since we are shutting down their daily business in order to curb the spread of coronavirus.”
He also seized the medium to further admonish the people of Bayelsa to continuously keep to all COVID-19 preventive measure directives as announced by NCDC.
He further pleaded with other spirited Bayelsans home and abroad to reach our people in this difficult time.
