53-Year-Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Defiling His Friend’s 14-Year-Old Daughter In Kwara
The suspect allegedly committed the offence in his shop located at Ori Oke, Elekoyangan area of the state capital.
A 53-year-old block moulder, Michael Adebayo, has been arrested by the Kwara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC for allegedly having unlawful carnal knowledge of his close friend’s 14-year-old daughter,Abdul Fatai Hajarat.
The Kwara state NSCDC made this known in a statement signed by its state spokesperson, Babawale Zaid Afolabi, and made available to newsmen in Ilorin on Tuesday, Dec. 21.
According to the spokesman, the suspect allegedly committed the offence in his shop located at Ori Oke, Elekoyangan area of the state capital.
Hajarat, who hawks puff-puff, sometimes stops by Michael’s shop to sell her wares and Michael allegedly used the opportunity to lure her with N200 Naira.
Babawale added that the suspect confessed he has “done this on a few occasions.”
In a related development, the NSCDC also paraded one Tajudeen Hammed, 31, a phone engineer, who was equally accused of r*ping a 16-year-old Isiaka Hawau.
“In the meantime, the two r*pe cases have been transfered to the intelligence and investigations department for full scale investigations after which the suspects will be charged to court,” Babawale added.
