Adeleye Kunle Reports

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United striker, wants to join Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga, TrackNews reports.

Ronaldo sees Dortmund as an alternative club in Europe’s five top leagues where he is guaranteed Champions League football, according to TrackNews.

Borussia Dortmund finished among the top four clubs in the Bundesliga last season and will compete in the Champions League this season.

The bad news for the 37-year-old Portuguese midfielder is that the German club will not sign him this summer, according to the report.

This could have hampered his chances of leaving Old Trafford this summer.

All summer, the Portuguese superstar has been heavily linked with a move away, but he may end up staying with the Red Devils.
