Former Chief of Staff of Rivers government, Emeka Woke, has issued a stark warning to associates of Governor Sim Fubara amid rising tensions within political circles in the state.

Specifically addressing Boma Goodhead, a member of the House of Representatives who recently dared former governor Nyesom Wike not to step foot into Rivers state, Woke cautioned against provocative statements.

His words: “Let me warn, those who live in a glass house should stop throwing stones. I listened to one lady; I can’t even remember her name.

”The last time I remember her was when she was crying to Nyseom Wike at the campaign office along Woji Road and swearing with her father and mother not to betray Wike.

”Because she has been given the contract to renovate Rivers state governor’s lodge in Abuja at Asokoro, she can now come and say, ‘I dare Wike to come to Port Harcourt.’

”Let me remind her that Wike has been in Port Harcourt since Friday. If she is a woman, let her dare Wike, and she will see fire.”

Moreover, Woke emphasized the need for restraint in inflaming ethnic tensions, stating, “Let me also say that for that for those who are fanning the embers of ethnic war, there is no particular ethnic group that has the monopoly of violence.

”Igbo people say nobody should touch a Tiger’s tail, whether it is awake or sleeping.”
