There are palpable indications that all is not well with Delta Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, concerning the leadership of the party.
This platform was able to gather that the Governor was supposed to have dissolved the cabinet to accommodate members of the old APC, just as the Old APC was expected to accommodate the old PDP.
Anonymous sources hinted our reporter that there are worries within Government House, and the plan for defection back to the PDP was being considered amidst challenges of integrating party structures.
Though rumors of a defection back to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) by the Sheriff Oborevwori-led government are yet to be verified, what has been confirmed were irreconcilable differences within the party.
Another Government House source, who wished to remain anonymous, told this platform that the Governor perceived the party was unwilling to oblige in the accommodations of her members, which was why the Governor was also unwilling to dissolve the cabinet.
“Oga and many of them are not happy because things are not going as planned with the defection. Oga and the leadership are considering going back to PDP,” the source added.
