Dr Zuofa Egberipou, a Vibrant Youth leader, has applauded Gov Douye Diri for equipping and Revamping Kaiama General Hospital.
Dr Zuofa in his words said ” so far so good, to be candid, Gov Douye has done well for the Health sector in his One year in office .
For upgrading, revamping and equipping Kaiama General Hospital, shows that the Governor understands the importance of the health sector in Human Capital development.
He said .”The Government has demonstrated for the umpteenth time that it understands the importance of priotizing the development of the health sector in the state.
Dr Zuofa further said, Kaiama General Hospital will serve the health needs of Kolokuma Opokuma local government area .He also thanked the Governor for assisting a medical colleague, Dr Fere, who has a health challenge by footing his medical bills .
This goes to show that the Governor is focused in his drive to develop Bayelsa State .
Dr Zuofa further called on the Commissioner for health, Dr Pabara Igwele and the NMA(Nigerian Medical Association) Bayelsa led by Dr Ngowari Torunana, to use their good office to draw the attention of the Governor on the need to employ medical doctors and other health workers to man facilities like the Kaiama General Hospital the governor has revamped and General Hospitals across Bayelsa including our foremost teaching Hospital NDUTH that are short staffed .
