Drinking Competition: Two Feared Dead, Others Hospitalised

A drinking competition in Agbarha community, Delta State, has reportedly resulted in the death of two persons, with two others hospitalized.

The deceased were involved in the competition to win one hundred thousand naira (N100,000).

According to reports, the victims took a substance alleged to be alcohol in full bottles in an attempt to finish it at once but in the process, they fell down and died instantly while two others are being resuscitated in a hospital.

The police are yet to issue a statement on the incident.
