The Oluwo of Iwo in Osun state, Emperor AbdulRasheed Adewale, was live on Facebook recently to comment on the concluded presidential election. The Oluwo of Iwo made a remarkable observation, pointing out that the majority of the Igbos supported their candidate, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party, in the election with an impressive ninety percent turnout.

However, the Oluwo of Iwo noted that some Yorubas did not vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The Oluwo of Iwo expressed his disappointment in those who betrayed Tinubu.

The Oluwo of Iwo capped off his comments by stressing the importance of unity among Nigerians, and urged them all to pray for the progress of this country. He also expressed his pride in having voted for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
