Edo state chapter Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Jareth Tenebe, has reacted to the viral video of Monday Okpebholo’s struggle to pronounce N605 billion while presenting the 2025 budget at the state’s House of Assembly yesterday.

Tenebe, in a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, said the governor’s struggle with the figures is a normal thing and just a prove of his innocence.

He claimed that Okpebholo’s inability to pronounce the figures showed that he is not a thief as against Obaseki and Ighodalo who will never make such mistake because they have allegedly stolen billions before.

The Edo APC chairman slammed Okpebholo’s critiques while reinstating that he is the governor of the state and will continue to perform.

“The social media has been agog with our governor budget presentation. It is a normal thing. A lot of people make such mistakes.

“I don’t know figures. You see, that is how to know original innocent people. Obaseki will not make such mistake because he has stolen billions before. Asue Ighodalo will not make such mistake because he has stolen billions before.

“Monday is not a thief so he is not familiar with figures. So anybody who wants to talk and continue to talk is nonsense.

“He is the governor of the state and he is performing. Anybody who does not like his face should go to hell and burn to ashes.” Tenebe said.
