Breaking/ Ekere loses council to Atiku, PDP

TRACKING>>Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Obong Nsima Ekere has lost votes from his local government to the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) in the rescheduled Presidential and National Assembly elections.

PDP’s presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar polled 8,343 to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari of the APC with 5,710 votes from Ikot Abasi local government.

In the senatorial contest, PDP polled 8552 to APC’s 6,066.

In the House of Representatives, PDP bagged 8,539 to defeat APC with 6,119 votes.
