EKEREMOR LGA: Bayelsa Health Commissioner Flags-Off Free Medical Outreach

Professor Seiyefa Brisibe, Honorable Commissioner of the Ministry of Health, Bayelsa State, today at Ekeremor local government, flagged off a five (5) day free medical outreach in Ekeremor main town, sponsored by Hon. Living Mitin, the Member Representing Ekeremor Constituency II, in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, in collaboration with the State Ministry of Health.

Prof. Brisibe thanked Hon. Living Mitin for fulfilling his promises and mandate of standing for the people at all times. He lauded the lawmaker’s efforts on the milestone achievement of carrying out a five-day free medical outreach for five communities in Ekeremor town, saying that prosperity is really assured for the people, especially at the grassroots level.

“For Hon. Living Mitin to take care of his people at this point in time, especially by declaring a five-day free medical outreach across communities, knowing the cost of medical commodities, really shows that he’s a good man, a man of the people who loves the grassroots,” and for the scale of services that are on the ground for the people, I want to thank him; God will bless him,” Prof. Brisibe stated.

The Health Commissioner encouraged the people of Ekeremor to stand firm in their support for their illustrious sons, Hon. Living Mitin, and of course the Governor, Senator Douye Diri, and his deputy, Sen. Lawrence E, to bring more empowerment and development to them as the free medical outreach lasts for five days across the communities.

The flag-off of the 5-Day Free medical outreach tagged Assured Prosperity Medical Outreach was attended by the State PDP Chairman, Hon. Solomon Agwana, Secretary, Hon. Gesiye Isowo, other Working Committee Members, Chief of Staff BYS-GH, Pastor Peter Akpe, Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, High Chief Collins Cocodia, Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere, other top government functionaries.
