Ekiti: NLC congratulates Governor Oyebanji

The Nigeria Labour Congress NLC has congratulated the newly sworn-in governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, on his assumption of office as executive governor of the state.

The union also rejoiced with the newly-appointed SSG, Alhaja, Habibat Adunbiaro and the CPS, Hon. Yinka Oyebode

In a statement in Ado Ekiti, NLC Chairman, Comrade Kolapo Joshua Olatunde, prayed God to give the governor the required wisdom, knowledge and understanding to steer the affairs of Ekiti State successfully.

Joshua expressed belief that the governor will perform excellently due to his antecedent and interest in development of Ekiti State.

The Ekiti State NLC Chairman who described the newly sworn in governor as home based and lover of all urged him to give priority to welfare of workers and pensioners.

According to him, governor Oyebanji emergence as governor of Ekiti State is divine, saying he should justify the confidence reposed in him by extending dividend of good governance to all residents of the State.

Comrade Kolapo Joshua pledged that Ekiti workers would support the administration of Mr Abayomi to achieve success.

He used the forum to appreciate former governor Kayode Fayemi on his contributions to workers’ welfare and development of the state
