Elections yet to commence in 23 Lagos Island East polling units

TRACKING>>Elections are yet to commence in at least 23 polling units in Ward E3, Lagos Island East Constituency, one hour and 21 minutes after the 8am commencement time fixed by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), The Nation can report.

Electoral materials, including card readers, have just been sorted by INEC officials at St. Stephen’s (WAEC) School, Lagos Island, the Registration Area Centre for the Constituency.

They are on the verge of leaving for their respective polling units.

Unit 006 in St. Stephen’s (WAEC) School is where the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu
