Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has announced that he will no longer purchase Twitter, three months after making a $44 billion offer to do so, Track News reports.
In a shocking letter to Twitter executives, Elon based his decision on a large number of spam bots. He also claimed Twitter withheld accurate data on the number of phony and spam accounts on the platform.

Twitter’s stock dropped by 6% after Elon withdrew his purchase offer.

Twitter executives have stated that they will sue him in order to complete the sale.
