EndSARS: Heavy police deployment at Lekki toll gate in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has increased deployment of personnel to the Lekki toll gate to forestall EndSARS anniversary march.

Track News correspondent counted at least 100 police officers at about 11:50am.

While some remained inside their vehicles, a detachment of about 50 operatives were being addressed by superior officers.

More than 15 vehicles, including cars, trucks and armoured personnel carriers, were observed.

There was a smooth flow of traffic at both sides of the toll gate which is on the Lekki-Ajah expressway.

Also as at the time of this report, the general area was calm with no march in sight.

The police are expected to remain at the scene till Friday
